Cooking a recipe

Spoonfed isn't just for storing recipes — it's built to be open on the counter while you cook.

Check off steps as you go

Each step has a checkbox. Tick them off as you work through the recipe and a Completed steps counter tracks how far along you are — handy for picking up where you left off after a distraction, or splitting the work across the kitchen.

A recipe mid-cook: steps with completion checkboxes and a "Completed steps 1/8" counter

Switch to the Minimal view for a stripped-back, glance-friendly layout while your hands are busy, or Cookbook for a big, readable one.

Log that you cooked it

When you've made a recipe, hit "I cooked this" on the recipe. Spoonfed records a cook — a small entry with the date (and an optional note) — and keeps a cook history for the recipe, so you can see how often you've made it and when you last did.

It builds your Kitchen Wrapped

Every cook you log feeds your Kitchen Wrapped — a running year-in-review of what you've been cooking. The more you log, the richer it gets.
